Bring Back The Summer of 2021
In my personal exploration, I aim to capture the essence of a tropical summer reminiscent of 2021, acknowledging the social and cultural impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. I have crafted a 3D model featuring a neon sign stand and a suitcase record player. The animated player slides open, revealing a miniature island on the rotating phonograph record when the needle drops. This piece serves as a source of relief and comfort for those still adjusting to the current situation, providing a momentary escape from the confines of their homes.
